Implement Temporary Presidential Rule in West Bengal to Counter Religious Violence

Implement Temporary Presidential Rule in West Bengal to Counter Religious Violence
The Issue
I was raised in a family that believes firmly in equality and the coexistence of all religions. However, recent events in my beloved state, West Bengal, challenge these values that are intrinsic to the human spirit and that of our nation, Hindustan. Widespread instances of violence being committed on Hindus by Muslims in the name of Jihad have significantly increased.
My heartbreak and indignation towards these acts has led to a profound realization - the need for stringent action. The situation has escalated beyond the capacity of local administration and the rule of law seems to be fading into oblivion. Our culture, which should be signifying unity, is being distorted to represent violence and fear.
West Bengal urgently requires stronger interference from the central government to restore peace and order, to ensure the safety of its residents, and to maintain the secular essence of our nation. There is no question as to why we need this measure - no religion should promote harm to others, and no one should live in fear.
Hindus constitute about 70.54% of West Bengal's population as per Census 2011, making them majority in the state. However, the surging religious violence contradicts the basic foundations of a democratic nation where the majority population lives in fear.
Hence, we need to implement temporary presidential rule in West Bengal. Such a move will support our endeavors to reinstall law and order, protect the innocent, and bring about transparency in governance. This is not a fight against a particular religion, but against the misuse of religious sentiments to inspire violence.
Remember, our nation is named Hindustan – a testament to the predominance of Hinduism. But let us not forget, Hindustan is built on the principles of tolerance, peace, and unity in diversity. It's time for us to stand up to protect these values that define us as a nation and as people.
Please sign this petition to support rectifying actions against any form of religious violence in West Bengal and declaring Islam as terrorism not a religion as it raise violence within it’s roots. Together, let us uphold the true spirit of Hindustan.
