Immediate Release of Women & Human Rights Activists from EL VALLE DETENTION CENTER

The Issue

Petition for the Immediate Release of Iranian Asylum Seekers Detained at El Valle Detention Center
We urgently call upon U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to immediately release Five Iranian asylum seekers who legally entered the United States through the CBP ONE program and are currently detained at the El Valle Detention Center:
Fatemeh K. (A****776)
Saniya N. (A****774)
Narges H. (A****773)
Mehdi T. (A****775)
Arman S. (A****621)

These courageous individuals have been victims of unimaginable violence, torture, and sexual assault solely because of their unwavering commitment to freedom and human rights. They turned to the United States a nation recognized as a sanctuary for the oppressed in search of safety and protection. Yet, instead of finding refuge, they have been subjected to prolonged and unnecessary detention, intensifying their suffering and calling into question the very values America prides itself on.. These six asylum seekers have not only successfully passed their Credible Fear Interviews (CFI) but have also completed their initial Master Hearings (Master Hearing). Furthermore, they have met all necessary legal guarantees and bonds from their sponsors in Nevada and Texas, who are prepared to provide them with safe and stable living conditions. Their continued detention, despite fulfilling all legal requirements, is unjustifiable and exacerbates their physical and psychological suffering.
These individuals are deprived of adequate medical and mental health care, and without access to a supportive environment, their physical and mental health is deteriorating rapidly. Many of them bear the scars of imprisonment and torture, and their conditions are worsening daily in detention.
The stakes could not be higher. The health, dignity, and futures of these Five individuals are at risk. They have proven themselves to be individuals of high moral character, resilience, and determination to contribute positively to society. Yet, ICE’S OFFICER decision to keep them detained not only deepens their emotional and physical wounds but also undermines the very principles of justice, fairness, and humanity that the United States takes pride in. Their continued detention is not only unnecessary but unjustifiable. It denies them the chance to rebuild their lives and erodes values such as freedom, human rights, and protection for the vulnerable that the U.S. claims to uphold. If this detention continues, the physical and mental toll on these asylum seekers will only escalate, potentially causing irreparable harm.

The time to act is now. These individuals have sponsors in Nevada and Texas who are ready and willing to provide them with safe, stable, and supportive environments while they await their asylum hearings. Keeping them in detention not only prolongs their suffering but also casts a shadow on America commitment to human dignity and justice. By granting humanitarian parole and releasing these six Iranian asylum seekers, ICE and DHS have the opportunity to demonstrate compassion, uphold fundamental human rights, and reaffirm America role as a safe haven for those escaping tyranny and persecution.
We strongly urge the case officers, honorable judges, and all responsible authorities to show goodwill, humanity, and a commitment to justice by releasing these asylum seekers. Their immediate release will not only preserve their dignity and well-being but also reinforce the values that define the United States as a nation.
Immediate action is essential. Stand with justice, human rights, and the freedom of these six courageous individuals by signing this petition. Together, we can ensure their safety, dignity, and the chance for a brighter future.
