Many students want a mentor activity that is fun, active, and different from the usual school activities. At the moment, there are limited opportunities for students to try new experiences and build stronger friendships outside the classroom. Ice skating would give students a chance to be active, improve teamwork and confidence, and enjoy a memorable activity together in a safe environment. It would also encourage participation from students who may not usually join in with traditional sports or school events.
