In 2022 the Prime minister and deputy took the opportunity to drum support in the LGBTQ community and get some positive pr by making the most of photo ops the event provided. He made several commitments to the community while he was there.

The most important one is I am asking the P.M. to carry through his promise to ban legalised child abuse (otherwise known as "conversion therapy") this cruel and out dated practice is sadly still being practiced by some religious groups (praying the gay away) some claim they use scientific principles which lead to mental trauma for the children subjected to it,and finally the more extreme cults have been known to use physical abuse in their efforts to remove an inate part of every persons being. 

We do not choose our sexuality,our gender identity or a myriad of other traits that make us who we are.

Both parties have at sometime in the recent past have vowed to do away with this disgusting practice yet it is still here and still happening Leaving young people with a lifetime of emotional and mental trauma to deal with.
