I am a young lady who sued the state of NSW for negligence after it took them over 56 plus reports for my welfare, over 10 years we spent over seven/eights years in legal proceedings fighting for no justice. Despite being told I will receive compensation, the state government have not asked me to repay the government all my perpetrators' costs to VS while they all walk free with no jail time, and get to move forward in their lives. None of my perpetrators pays anything for their crimes.

 I have contacted Victims' Services and their commissioner several times with no luck, the former Attorney General and Ombudsman of NSW, none of who will meet in person and constantly ask that I repay the government for my perpetrator's costs, and I have had other avocates involved helping to advocate I get to recieve my compensation, and don't repay the costs of my perpretator's wrong doings. I have also attached a link to my case.

I hope by speaking out, and holding systems accountable with the communities support, more victims will come forward, and that I don't have to repay money for crimes that I was a victim of that the system failed for.
