Back Up For Life helps ex-police with post traumatic stress disorder and are losing their funding.

It’s common for police officers transitioning from successful careers with the NSW Police Force to face a broad range of challenges when returning to civilian life, and these challenges can often impact both the individual and their families.

About 30,000 ex-police officers are not supported by any insurance scheme so back up for life is vital in assisting former police to transition to a new career or retirement.
