Homeowner Amenities Access (Copper Village/Arbors)
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents, are requesting that the HOA implement physical key card or fob access for community amenities in place of, or in addition to, the current phone/code-based entry system.
Residents have experienced ongoing issues with phone connectivity, app malfunctions, expired or incorrect codes, and delays in gaining access to amenities. These problems create unnecessary frustration for families and often require repeated and unanswered calls to management or other residents for assistance just to enter facilities that homeowners already pay to use.
A physical key card or fob system would provide a simpler, more reliable, and more user-friendly solution for residents of all ages. It would reduce technology-related access issues, improve convenience, streamline entry into amenities, and lessen the burden on staff and residents who are currently handling access problems.
We believe implementing key card /fob access would significantly improve the overall resident experience and respectfully ask the HOA Board to make this change.
Just a few Comments from Residents:
" would love to go back to card access. My in-laws or teenage family members or baby sitters sometimes come watch my kids, and they can't access the facilities unless my husband or I let them in."
"We don't even bother going anymore..it's ridiculous!!! The cards were flawless, never had one issue !! We've been here 20 years."
"Our family would be 100% on board with going back to key cards! My phone is also my medical device, so I cannot send it with our daughter into the restroom without becoming disconnected. The key cards were much more efficient!"
" haven’t been able to use the facilities since this app started I can’t figure it out.Bring back the cards please!"
