We, the undersigned viewers, fans, and supporters of responsible media, respectfully call upon GMA Network, Inc. to take urgent disciplinary action against Ms. Suzette Doctolero, the head writer of Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’re, due to her continuous pattern of online misconduct unbecoming of someone in her position.

Ms. Doctolero has, over the past several days, engaged in multiple instances of verbal harassment, unprofessional behavior, and public hostility toward the very fans and viewers of her show. Instead of constructively engaging with feedback or criticism, she has lashed out on social media, hurling expletives, name-calling, and making disparaging remarks about the very audience her work seeks to serve.

This behavior is in direct conflict with GMA Network’s publicly declared core values:

“We uphold Integrity and Transparency.”
“We believe that the Viewer is Boss.”

As a head writer publicly representing the Network through her work and public persona, Ms. Doctolero’s combative and disrespectful conduct tarnishes the professional image of GMA Network, contradicts its mission to be “the most respected leader in the Philippine broadcast industry,” and sets a dangerous precedent for how creators may treat their audiences with contempt.

We therefore respectfully urge GMA Network to:

• Impose a preventive suspension on Ms. Doctolero or remove her as head writer of Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’re.
• Issue a formal reprimand to her for engaging in inappropriate and aggressive behavior on social media.
• Publicly affirm the Network's commitment to respectful engagement with its viewers and enforce internal policies that prevent staff from engaging in harassment or hate speech online.
• Suspend or discontinue future projects involving Ms. Doctolero should she continue to demonstrate unprofessional conduct.
• Institute clearer internal protocols for handling similar misconduct from public-facing staff to protect the company’s reputation and the trust of its loyal viewers.

GMA Network has long held a reputation for professionalism, innovation, and integrity. We urge its leadership to uphold those standards today by taking firm, corrective action to demonstrate that no individual is above the Network’s values—especially not one in a position of influence and public visibility.
