The fulfillment of Asbury Park’s renaissance has been thwarted as Madison Marquette,  the owners of the iconic Conventional Hall and Casino/Carousel area, are permitted to ignore their deplorable condition and obligations to maintain them for years ! The legendary Paramount Theater and Convention Hall performance venue remain closed for safety reasons. The structures are crumbling. Meanwhile the city fails to make this a high enough priority and acts as if their hands are tied. This is an outrage and a travesty.   Do something Mayor and Council!
