Hold Advantix Accountable: Stop Unlawful Evictions and Housing Neglect
The Issue
The Issue:
Safe, decent, and sanitary housing is not a privilege—it is a fundamental right. Yet, residents living in properties managed by property development and management corporations like Advantix are facing unacceptable living conditions due to systemic neglect. Across multiple communities, management companies entrusted with public resources are failing in their most basic legal and ethical obligations to the people they house.
Misuse of Public Funds & HUD Subsidies:
Taxpayer dollars and vital HUD funding are specifically allocated to ensure that low-to-moderate-income families and voucher holders have access to safe, quality housing and properly maintained infrastructure. Instead, funds appear to be heavily mismanaged or diverted away from actual building upkeep and resident welfare. Rather than investing federal subsidies into critical structural repairs, energy efficiency, and routine property preservation, management prioritizes profits and bureaucratic overhead while leaving properties to deteriorate.
Severe Habitability Failures and Resident Neglect:
Residents are routinely forced to live in substandard and hazardous conditions. From neglected maintenance requests and broken safety fixtures to ignored structural decay, management has demonstrated a profound, systemic indifference to the health, safety, and dignity of the individuals and families living in their buildings. When tenants speak up or request basic repairs, they are met with retaliation, intimidation, or procedural roadblocks instead of solutions.
Our Demand:
We, the undersigned residents, community members, and advocates, demand an immediate, transparent federal and state investigation into the operational practices, fund allocation, and maintenance records of property management.
We call upon regulatory agencies, local officials, and HUD oversight committees to:
Audit Fund Allocation: Conduct a full, independent financial audit of how federal HUD funds and public subsidies are being utilized across managed properties.
Enforce Strict Habitability Standards: Require management to immediately resolve all outstanding health, safety, and maintenance violations without retaliating against reporting tenants.
Establish True Accountability: Hold corporate leadership accountable for systemic neglect, ensuring that management entities that fail to provide safe housing are stripped of their contracts and oversight privileges.
Housing is a human right. It is time to stop funding corporate negligence and start protecting the residents.
