Adrielle Sigler has been exploiting her large platform online, specifically TikTok, to gain monetary benefits, despite being wrapped up in intense controversy and facing a multitude of severe allegations. These include incidents of racism, body shaming, false crimes, stalking and slander against small businesses.  More serious allegations are engaging in improper conduct towards minors both on and offline.

Sigler, routinely exploits the narrative of being a single mother to gain followers and solicit monetary support. However, her actions and words towards her own children have been largely inconsistent with this portrayed image. She is frequently seen speaking negatively about her children to her live stream audiences, even going as far as to verbally humiliate them. 

Such behavior not only shames her own children but also demeans the authentic struggle that real single mothers wrestle with every day. It taints the public perception of single motherhood, which is already laden with stereotypes and judgments.

The most recent of scandals occurred in November of 2024. It was brought to light through a Reddit post made from her account, which unsettlingly asked, "what do I do if I have a crush on my student." This caused great concern as Sigler was employed within the public education system at the time of the post, and the student referred to would have been a minor in middle school. She is no longer working at the school, the post was several years old , and the reason for her leaving her position has been widely speculated upon within the online community.

When made aware of the old post, instead of treating the situation with the necessary grace , Sigler chose to ignore it and then proceeded to mock the allegation. In a live streamed video, she appeared dressed as a schoolgirl singing karaoke to songs such as “Oops I Did it Again” and “Criminal” , making a spectacle of a serious matter. 

Additionally, she has manipulated users' sympathies through misleading narratives to collect funds through various GoFundMe campaigns. The funds raised have not been used for the purposes claimed, causing bitterly remembered betrayals of trust for her followers and misusing the intended spirit of community-driven fund raising, which is to aid legitimate causes.

Adrielle Sigler has unfortunately used her influence on TikTok inappropriately. Too many times, her actions have left a trail of utter devastation - negatively affecting individuals' livelihoods and businesses. The recklessness at play in her use of this platform is something we can no longer ignore. 

As we understand the importance of healthy dialogue and digital cleansing, we are calling upon TikTok to take action for the wrongs done. We demand a thorough investigation of Adrielle Sigler's actions on TikTok, and should they find malfeasance or wrongdoing, to take the necessary steps to remove her from the platform.

We must hold influencers like Sigler accountable for their actions. TikTok, as a platform which heavily influences the young and impressionable, has a duty of care to ensure their safety. Enabling potentially harmful behaviors is not in line with this duty.
