HIV disclosure is mandatory!

HIV disclosure is mandatory!

The Issue

Today, there are one million people living with HIV or AIDS in America. 33.5 million people are infected globally. More than 4,000 people are infected every day. But those are the numbers  on file. Imagine how many people are infected and don't it? How do you think we can stop this epidemic from ravishing our communities? This is not an African-American, Latino, Spanish, Cuban, Asian, or White disease. This disease is claiming lives in every culture. And seemingly, the past efforts in HIV education have somehow been overlooked and misunderstood.

Therefore, I am proposing a new effort. An effort that will bring HIV disclosure to the forefront. It is time more focus be put on those who are living with HIV or AIDS. It is time, I tell you that I am infected with HIV before I infect you. But will you apprecaite it, or will you reject me and call me names? If that is your response, no wonder no one is sharing their diagnosis. But today, you can make a difference in the way people who are HIV+ or living with AIDS take responsibilty for their actions, in the spread of this epidemic.

By signing this petition, you are asking someone who is HIV positive or living with AIDS to take action and make changes in their decision to infect someone else. Doing so will encourage someone living with HIV or AIDS to take notice and perhaps, responsibility for the life of another person. By sharing the link http://wwwafraidtotellthetruth.blogspot.com  with everyone in your email address box, you are making a difference in the way people start to interact about this epidemic in our country. Together, with your help , I will be able to promote my blog and new book I Hate To Tell You, but I Am HIV Positive...Encouraging steps on how to talk about your HIV diagnosis.

Thank you for your time and support. We will bring this episode to a hault. One person at a time.

Sincerely,

Bradley Fowler
