The carving on Stone Mountain currently depicts and honors the legacy of the three Confederate leaders of the civil war: President Jefferson Davis, and Generals Robert E. Lee and "Stonewall" Jackson. Under the constitution, all these men, as well as all of the other secessionists, are traitors to the United States. It is a completely unpatriotic idea that their legacies should be honored, especially not with a gigantic stone carving.

Instead of honoring these men, it makes much more sense to sandblast the entire carving and replace them with the stone faces of the Hokage. Hashirama Senju, Tobirama Senju, Sarutobi Hiruzen, Minato Namikaze, and Tsunade Senju have all made greater contributions to America than any of these three confederate traitors. In fact, just one of the Hokage would have the ability to singlehandedly wipe out the entire confederate army.

Because of the mountain face's great confederate symbol, Stone Mountain Park is a place that attracts white supremacists, KKK members, and other racist people. It is known that historically, many rallies were held here. At one point, the Klu Klux Klan was given a permit to burn a cross on top of the mountain. I believe that if the carving was replaced with the faces of the Hokage, we could instead host an anime convention perhaps. It would be a lot less destructive, although it may not smell too great.
