The Palm Springs VFW post (Veterans of Foreign Wars) is at risk. It’s a local hub for Veterans who served in the protection of the United States. Located in Palm Springs Florida, and established in the early 1960’s. The City of Palm Springs has intentions of closing down the post, which would displace a community of Senior Citizens who attend the posts weekly activities. 

We are asking the community to please help us show the importance of our community, and to give the honor and respect to the men and woman who served in our Armed Forces, and defended our country, and to pay a tribute to the soldiers who never made it home. This post has been a safe place to the men and woman of Palm Springs, where veterans and citizens can come together for events such as holiday celebrations, weddings, birthday celebrations, Celebrations of Life, and social gatherings. 

We are not asking for donations, just attention to the matter at hand. Donations are appreciated but not required.
