Help Save The Beautiful Sydney Northern Coastline - No More Coal!

The issue

Locals on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Central Coast and Newcastle DO NOT want coal ships continuing to travel up and down the coastline leading to another disaster like the Pasha Bulker back in 2007! We’ve fought this for years & will continue to fight it.

The only way to provide residents of the East Coast of Australia is by using a cleaner energy source such as gas. This may be found just off our iconic coastline where it won't even be able to be seen from shore! Advent Energy is taking the Federal Government to court to force them to make a decision on whether we will be allowed access to a CHEAPER AND GREENER energy source due to the corruption and bias of the Morrison Government.

The PEP11 permit to drill must be approved once and for all! Helping to fuel the economy - more jobs, cheaper energy, better for the environment!

Our current Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese promised that PEP11 would be refused under a Labor Government (showing an inherent bias, some might argue is just as corrupt as the Morrison Government), but he knows it is a decision that needs to be approved.

Help us send a clear message to the Federal Labor Government and to coal companies that we will not back down until PEP11 and cheaper energy is approved! Why should the Government be exempt from following the legislations and laws they create?

It is a fact that gas rigs Benefit the local environment by creating an artificial reef. By law, commercial and recreational fishing vessels are prohibited within 500m of the platform, which creates a protected area. Diverse marine communities over 200 metres away from the platforms can be observed because this area is protected. This is also evident in the US program, RIGS TO REEF

Sign the petition and share it with your mates.

Let's make some noise for our coastline, the next generation of ocean lovers, marine life, more jobs, a cleaner environment, less coal ships going up and down the coast which created pollution, disturbs the aquatic life, and causes disasters previously seen.
