I have a Brumby mare. She is just brilliant and, as a mare, will not be adding to the numbers. Aerial shooting is barbaric. I believe *people*, pigs and deer do FAR more damage to the environment, and less than cattle grazing to reduce fuel loads. Control? yes. Shooting or shipping off to abattoirs? NO!
As someone who lived in a small town where droughts already meant our water ran brown, this country cannot handle the environmental impacts of data centres. They are unnecessary and will only harm the day to day living of every person in this nation. It is a waste of resources and money and will worsen the problems already present in this nation. I am 20. I am already concerned for my future in this country and the idea of data centres chewing through our resources only worsens it.
Im only 16 and im studying animal sciences to help prevent the destruction of this world and help animals fight for their home and a chance to live alongside us. All adults that try to destroy our land for their own interests and money gain are disgusting. I want a future where children won't have to go to zoos to only see ai versions of animals because the real ones were driven to extinction due to our own greed.
As a fifteen year old who lives in this country, it’s not fair that those who have already experienced their lives! What about us? Don’t we deserve a future??
As a parent of a former student at OC this is troubling. What’s the message to students - luxury sports fields and facilities matter more than preserving a threatened species and environmental degradation.
At another level it clearly shows that the fees are so excessive as to enable the school to expand facilities that are not essential and just feed the ego of the school community to be able to be even more ostentatious. I think the values are questionable.
Enough is enough Redlands Council - when are you actually going to stop development that destroys the natural habitat - you might as well change the Redlands logo to remove the koala because we soon won’t have any left. It’s as good as having the Dodo on the council logo.

It astounds me that once again a demand to move a harmless native Australian animal living in Australian bushland so someone can ride around on an introduced species for fun gets to a point where a petition is even needed?
Although horses are allowed in there is surely if a horse is so skittish an emu scares it then riding in a popular mountain biking network isn’t where you should be in the first place .

2 week waste is never meant to sit that long and households doing everything right — composting, recycling, cutting down — still drowning in it. This isn't working, it never will. Baw Baw deserves leadership that listens, Mayor Wilson clearly hasn't been.
STUPID COUNCIL THEY MUST LOVE RUBBISH BECAUSE THEY ARE COCKRAOCHES
Council has justified halving general waste collection largely on budget grounds; Mayor Wilson explicitly linked the cut to landfill levy pressure and easing strain on council's budget; yet on their FB page council is publicly celebrating handing out $141,000 in community grants to mostly sports clubs.
