8 schools in Brighton & Hove have already gone smartphone-free. We think Balfour should be next.

We've written to Mr Gunn to ask him to make Balfour School smartphone-free — banning students from bringing smartphones to the premises and allowing only basic phones where needed for safety.

We believe this would improve the emotional, social and academic environment for our children. And when a whole peer group makes the change together, it becomes much easier for every family to hold the line.
