I support the Health Care Reform initiative, because one of my daughters and husband and five year old daughter don't have access to affordable health care, although they are both employed.  My daughter has worked for twenty years and still can't afford health insurance.  My friend Mona has worked for forty  years and raised four children; however, she can't afford health insurance or care.  I work in a doctor's office and do the billing.  It is my experience that about half of the 1,000 patients are either uninsured or underinsured.  Many are unable to afford their co-pays, high coinsurance, and deductibles.  I hate inefficiency of government run programs, as much as the next person.  But, we have the ability -- the rsponsibility --- to change and reform things that don't work, whether they are public or private.  The current for-profit healthcare system is unfair it hurts both doctors and patients by making forcing them to accept medical decisions based on corporate interests.
