The Issue

Dear concerned citizens,

It is time for us to take action against cyberbullying in public schools. With the rise of technology and social media, cyberbullying has become a prevalent issue that affects countless students every day. It is time for our schools to take a stand and implement measures to prevent cyberbullying and educate our children about its harmful effects.

According to the Cyberbullying Research Center, over 34% of students have experienced cyberbullying at some point in their lives. This statistic alone shows how widespread this issue is among our youth. Cyberbullying can lead to depression, anxiety, and even suicide in extreme cases.

We cannot ignore the impact that cyberbullying has on our children's mental health and well-being. It is crucial that we take proactive steps to prevent it from happening in the first place.

Therefore, we are calling on all public schools across the country to implement measures against cyberbullying and educate their students about it. These measures could include workshops for parents and teachers on how to identify signs of cyberbullying, implementing strict policies against bullying both online and offline, providing counseling services for affected students, among others.

By signing this petition, you are showing your support for creating safer environments for our children at school by preventing incidents of online harassment or bullying from occurring.

Together we can make a difference in protecting our children from harm caused by online harassment or bullying!
