The Pottery building in Elrington Road is under threat of development. When the school was converted to luxury flats part of the original planning consent in 1998, was a condition that the Pottery was safeguarded for use as a community space in perpetuity.

Since the school was developed the building has never been made available to the local community.

There are lots of local people who would use the space if it was made available, including for:

- parent and toddler

- art class

- bicycle club

- complimentary medicine

- party hire

- coffee mornings

- book club

- yoga

- meeting room

- gardening club

Please safeguard the building for the purpose that it was intended when planning permission was granted for the original school conversion.
