Wearing skirts especially during the winter is very uncomfortable for girls. GCC says to wear tights but the material of tights is thin and does not keep them warm. When your legs are cold, you are more prone to sickness, resulting in having days off. Girls are also at constant fear of their skirts lifting due to the wind. The option to wear pants at GCC would benefit the students and school in many more ways than it would harm them. In fact, there are no disadvantages for girls to wear pants.
