Megan DePerro started this petition to Governor of Texas Greg Abbott and

According to the testimony of Seannafaith, an Instagrammer, and other people who were at Travis Scott's concert at Astroworld in Houston, Texas, after literally surviving the chaotic crowd they nearly died in they screamed and informed camera men that people were being trampled to death but were ignored. Ms. Seanna Faith pointed to the chaotic scene where people lay dying and dead, but the camera men only threatened Ms. Faith with severe bodily injury by threatening to push her off of a fifteen foot tower. The camera men, and other crew members, were notified multiple times of people that were dead, dying, and severely injured according to several testimonies and yet chose to ignore it. This should be deemed as manslaughter. Astroworld and Mr. Scott's crew did not have any safety measures in hand to control the crowd and therefore people died. We, the petitioners, are asking for the following three enactments:

1. That Mr. Scott, Astroworld, and Mr. Scott's crew are responsible for paying for the funeral expenses and hospital bills, along with hotel bills, and plane flight tickets of every person who died or was injured at his concert along with their loved ones who had to stay behind in Houston waiting for their release.

2. Forensic investigations are made to determine what happened and those, such as the camera men who were made aware of the death scene and chose to ignore it, are charged to the fullest extent. If that doesn't account to a prison sentence that a new law is passed so that they absolutely will serve prison time as they are in part responsible for eight deaths. Security, in which according to Ms. Faith's testimony only two people did their job that night, are to be prosecuted strongly to the fullest extent of the law as are any concertgoers who started the chaotic scene of death.

3. All outdoor festivals, in order to prevent further deaths and injuries, will now have a greatly reduced number of attendants and picnic chair seating. Each person will be given a row and seat number and is mandated to stay in that seat. Mosh pitting, being far from your chair except to purchase food and beverage or use a toilet, and throwing chairs is grounds for immediate removal. People may stand and dance only in front of their own personal chair. While this law would only go into affect in Texas it is hoped eventually it will become nationwide.
