The beloved Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jean at birth) passed in her home at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive in Brentwood, California, Los Angeles by barbiturate overdose at only age 36. 

Although originally raised Christian by her forster parents, after marrying husband Arthur Miller in 1956, Marilyn felt she identified with the teachings of Judaism thus converting only two days after the wedding and throughout the years before her death her devotion to her faith.

After Marilyn passed from overdosing on sleeping pills in 1962, the entirety of her funeral/burial was organised and overseen by her ex husband Joe DiMaggio, who was Catholic. 

Marilyn Monroe was a woman who cared deeply about her faith and other women, it sends a troubling message to women & girls all over the world when even in death there is no honour or respect granted, given that she was not given a traditional Jewish burial, but as a woman continues to be sexualised and mocked by having Hugh Hefner buried by her side and Richard Poncher buried face down on top of her. 

As fans of Marilyn we believe her soul deserves true eternal rest far away from the world of men that mistreated her.
