Many socially isolating customers receive home deliveries but don't want them in plastic bags. However, many supermarkets, including the CoOperative, insist on sending supplies in plastic bags because they fit into their delivery boxes. Instead of breaking down all the boxes that the supermarket supplies arrive in, I suggest that they somehow be kept for customer use instead, especially for home deliveries. This way, although more space may be required in the shops, at least the environment won't suffer so much from this unnecessary commodity.
