The LGBTQ+ community in Pakistan needs your help. We have no rights!!! I want people from all over the world to show support to the Pakistani community and I wish I can spark these conversations in the Pakistani media in the hope for a sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future. It's of no surprise that Pakistan ranks high in the top five worst countries when it comes to the gender gap and I wish to bridge this gap by first creating more representation and visibility for the LGBTQ community. 

Since last year when I started advocatinging for equity and LGBTQ+ rights on my Instagram, I have received hate messages and even death/rape threats from the Pakistani community. My own blood relations have threatened to behead me. However, change only happens if we speak about it. Malala Yousafzai did not get a Nobel prize because she remained silent, but because she spoke up for equal education rights for women in Pakistan. 

I wish for strict reinforcement of anti-discriminatory laws in schools, colleges, and workplaces so that no child has to ever bear the pressure of being bullied or experience workplace harassment.
