Cancel Kerala University Exams

The Issue

This is a collective request prepared by the Kerala University batch of 2019-22. This petition address the issues faced by us as students who didn't have any offline classes ever since the outbreaks of Covid-19. Online classes of semester 3 were commenced from 1st of June 2020, with already delayed semester 2 exam held only later only on November 2020, immediately after which semester 4 classes were conducted unfortunately still through online mode. Semester 3 exam were to happen on March this year but again postponed due to the 2nd Wave of COVID 19 and the lockdown which followed ahead.

With the semester 3 exams postponed the notification for semester 4 exams is been released. We are in a very tragic and unfortunate situation. Starting of semester 5 classes since June 2021 is increasing pressure and anxiety about our Academic situation. Even without completing our semester 4 portions we will have to be soon attending practical exams with the classes of semester 5 happening. This adds up on to the huge pressure we face as students affecting our physical and mental health. Also it is also nearly impossible to manage all the three semester together.

The authorities seems to have a blind eye towards our plight and deaf ears to our requests. Now Final year exams one to be conducted offline that too with the situation becoming worse than ever with high morbidity submitting our own health. Sir this document demands to be treated with immediate attention and we humbly request whomsoever concerned to take action responsibly and by considering our request. Please do the needful about practical exams and intermediate language paper. Also if possible in any manner the cancellation of the entire intermediate semester exam will be much appreciated by the students following the path many others reputed University in India
