URGENT - Drinking Water needed for the People of St. Thomas - Jamaica

The Issue

Over the years, there has been an enormous water problem for the people of St. Thomas, Jamaica, months will go by where there is no water for drinking, cleaning and general use. For the past 4 months, the people of eastern St. Thomas, communities like Dalvey, Hampton Court, Duckenfield, Golden Grove etc. has no access to clean drinking water, THIS IS A HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE. We are demanding the Government of Jamaica, The parliamentary representative and local representatives for St. Thomas, irrespective of your political affiliation, to stand up for what is right, we are demanding that the National Water Commission to start harvesting water in tanks so that when we experience periods of drought, communities still has access to clean drinking water. WATER IS A HUMAN RIGHT!

Call and email the president of NWC Mark Barnett, tell him that the children has no water to drink. I HAVE CALLED AND THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT ST. THOMAS has an active trucking system, but still the people has no water. We do not want a trucking system, we want water in the pipes. We want the NWC to use another source other that the Apple Plant source and start harvesting water for the people of St.Thomas. Please write, email and call the Aubyn Hill chairman of NWC, ask him if his children, spouse or family is out of water.

Email and Call Mr. Calver Harrison now. Let him know we need water!!!!
