$22,500 in Student Loans is not something anybody dreams of having. For many students, Reeves College has given them just that. A number people who have attended Reeves College or their sister program CDI College now have immense debt with nothing to show for it - despite completing the program and all required practicum.

There are many reasons why The Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta should remove these institutions from their list of eligible colleges. Please sign this petition, share your negative experiences and why you think NSLSC and Alberta Student Aid should take action! If we work together, share this petition and share our experiences, we can hold these institutions accountable! They took advantage of the vulnerability of prospective students, used predatory business tactics, lied about accreditation and transferable grades and permitted extremely under qualified instructors to teach courses they had no experience in. This should ABSOLUTELY NOT be allowed, and the Government should help protect their citizens from predatory businesses like this.

To the Government of Canada and The Government of Alberta; Let this business stay open, but ensure future students know 100% what they’re getting into by reversing the eligibility of student loan funding for these institutions. Any person who has given this institution a chance and used financial aid should be eligible to have the remainder of their loans forgiven, and these institutions should be held responsible for the hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe even millions that they signed us up for. So many of the students who have attended these “colleges” have stories, and I believe all of them are worth hearing.
