States like Missouri, Arizona and Mississippi have moved to prevent illegal immigrants from receiving taxpayer funded benefits, drivers licenses, and other handouts. Yet, in 2013, illegal immigration cost Texas taxpayers about $12.1 billion. That amounts to more than $1,197 for every Texas household headed by a native-born or naturalized U.S. citizen. (F.A.I.R. report 2014)

Texas should have been the first to enact these common-sense measures to protect it's citizens. However, with the 2014 school year fast approaching, Texas families are now facing a looming public health emergency and a dangerous financial crisis. 

We, the People of Texas, demand that our elected representatives do their duty and act immediately to remove any and all incentives, entitlements and benefits for illegal immigrants in Texas.

We demand the elimination of 'sanctuary cities' and we demand that our legislators and officials work with local sheriffs to immediately end the practice of housing illegal immigrants anywhere in Texas.

We further demand that our public servants immediately prevent the transportation of illegal immigrants through Texas to the United States. 

We, the People of Texas expect and deserve an immediate response from our representatives.

Let it be known that we cannot and we will not wait to address this emergency. If our public servants once again fail to end this crisis then we will have no choice but to do so ourselves.
