Racism has been an issue in America for far too long, tearing through our cities, our schools, our communities. This month, more than four black deaths at the hands of the Arizona police have been reported(and more unreported)and justice has been slow to see. 

We, the people of Arizona, are calling for reform change, for new legislation, for better training, and accountability within our Department of Justice and police departments. On behalf of our communities and our state, we are proclaiming that we  have seen enough death and refuse to accept it. When one group of people hurt in our community, we all hurt. 

We are calling upon all of our representatives to act on our request and demand for change. We will not stop this fight, we want to be heard, we want to protect black and brown lives, we want things to change. We are requesting that the Office of Accountability and Transparency be adopted across the state and that police officers, chiefs, deputy and sergeants are mandated to take increased Bias and EMT training. 

Officers and representatives who do not fight to protect and represent all peoples, cannot truly protect any of us. 

Change our state then take this petition and fight for all black and brown lives in the House.
