Many students refuse to accept the use of a biometric system in monitoring attendance, we feel that it's use is unnecessary and consider it an invasion of our privacy.

We believe that the potential for "function creep" I.E. progressive misuse of the information gathered by such a system, is too high.

We personally take offense to this decision, in that it demonstrates a lack of trust between GHS admin and the student body. We collectively request that it not be followed through.
