Oxenford Quarry has applied to expand and run for a very long time...it is surrounded by communities who constantly have to contend with and breathe in silica dust which as we are now aware is a major health risk...there is wildlife habitat within the area that will be affected....people who live in the area have to contend with cracks in their homes from the blasting and for some it is very frightening...also We want to protect the  visual aspect of our community....the quarry was due to close in 2017 but was given another 5 years of operation until 2022....As our community is quite large now, surrounding the quarry and in close proximity are many residential estates along with schools ,movie world...wet and wild and top golf which is full of visiting tourists daily....we have deep concerns of health issues for our residents from air quality that may arise in the coming years ...Please sign this petition and help us save our community
