END ASUU STRIKE IN NIGERIA

The Issue

Nigeria Tertiary Education System is getting weak every day that passes by with the annual ASUU(Academic staff union of universities) strike on going in the country interrupting and prolonging the academic calendar of its students imagine a (Four)4years course ,a student will find him/herself graduating (six - seven )6-7years isn't this worrisome and evil?

Before the Corona break Asuu had embarked on a (two)2weeks warning strike in March 2020. Now that the Corona break is over in Nigeria ,both nursery, primary, unity and some state owned Tertiary schools have re-opened including the private universities, the funny thing during the Corona break most private institutions were attending classes online VIA Zoom or any related online video platforms, leaving the federal university students not been able to attend lectures because of the poor facilities in the Educational sector ,I say this is a shame to the Nigeria system of Education.

ASUU(Academic staff union of Nigeria) are not helping issues right now because they are saying if the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA are yet to meet there demands the strike continues these simply means they can go on strike as long as they want e.g (Two)2years or more. forgetting the fact that the students of Nigeria have a demand of being educated.

Both the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA and ASUU are yet to have a common understanding neglecting the students.

The students are tired of ASUU on going strike because  of the government not meeting there demands, the students are the one's who suffers the outcome of this disagreement.

THE NIGERIA STUDENTS NEEDS AN END TO THIS DISAGREEMENT AND WANT TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 30TH 2020 AND NOT WANTING ANOTHER STRIKE IN THE FUTURE.
