Glasgow City Council has introduced changes to the kerbside collection services, that only effect main door properties.

Your green bin collection will change from a two weekly service to a three weekly service.

I have serious concerns that when this decision was first taken we had a completely different situation, now more people are working from home and home schooling so generating more refuse.

While I do agree that we need to do more to support our response to the ongoing climate emergency I feel that our society has changed so much in the last year that the decisions and reasons for the initial pilot project have now changed and are no longer relevant.

I am happy to take this forward for you but the concern is this was a City Government decision  and needs the city government to over turn it.

Encourage recycling and capture more quality materials
Reduce our carbon footprint
Deliver savings and efficiencies (vehicles, routing and collections)
