Give Sonos Users Their Choice of App

Give Sonos Users Their Choice of App
The Issue
We, the Sonos customers, demand access to previous, working versions of software, including drivers and software installed on various Sonos speaker components, and control software built for use on iOS, Android, Windows and Mac computers.
Ever since the Sonos software upgrade deployed in May 2024, numerous issues have impacted users' rightful use of their owned equipment, including, but not limited to: feature removal (alarms, queue management, local library access), basic control, access to speaker components, and other issues that have been discussed in the subreddit r/sonos. In addition, users have had their experience with their owned equipment negatively impacted by Sonos' deployment of a new, centralized server gateway through which some, maybe all, of these features now are dependent on. This poses not only performance problems & is potentially to blame for recent incidents of speakers playing at random times as well as speakers dropping from a users' network altogether, but potentially opens up additional security risks for users' network installations.
Sonos has not addressed any of these issues adequately, nor have they made any attempt to allow users to opt out of these updates. These updates were imposed unilaterally by Sonos without consultation of its users after said users paid Sonos for equipment they expected, in good faith, to remain functional after said purchases.
We demand that Sonos provide access to the last known good version of software for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and all Sonos speaker equipment available as of May 2024 to all users of record as of May 2024.
