Girls Who Code going WORLDWIDE

It is completely clear that the gender gap, in this case, in technology is incredibly huge. Being the XXI century I strongly feel that is time to change that. There are organizations that help with this, one of them being Girls Who Code, founded by Reshma Saujani. The disappointing and sad fact is that this organization is currently only working in the US, the thing is that the gender gap in tech is a worldwide issue. I really believe that if the Girls Who Code clubs and Summer Immersion Programs went worldwide it would really be not one, but several steps towards a better, more balanced future.
Imagine the impact of being able to participate in a Girls Who Code club/summer immersion program would have on a girl and/or a young woman, imagine how empowering it would be for them to be able to attend and learn from modern, leading technological companies such as Google, Facebook, Electronic Arts, to mention some.
With multiple testimonies from Girls Who Code alumni, I believe that the opportunities are given to them by Girls Who Code have pushed and helped them striving to get tech jobs and really get into science and technology.
My words can't really express how important I think it is to close the gender gap and how I believe that Girls Who Code going worldwide, going outside the walls of the US, reaching all the girls in the world that are just waiting and hoping for an opportunity to be able to go out there and change the world, this can help empowering girls and young women by putting great opportunities out there for them to grasp and grow.
