Putting an end to anonymous CPS calls.

I can't be the only one who’s family has encountered someone's spiteful acts of vengeance. Bringing innocent children into unnecessary situations all for no other reason then they don’t like the parent. I believe in CPS if its absolutely necessary but the allegations should be from a creditable source that’s willing to testify in court for the allegations being made.
My sister has had several reports made against her due to personal vendettas and hateful people, who know nothing about her home or children.
Now anyone can call and say a mother or father is abusive or an addict and they can show up to your door scaring your children and harassing you and your family. A call can be made everyday and they will show at your door everyday. After an investigation and drug tests a family should be left alone and calls should be screened especially when it’s from an anonymous caller. Better judgment should be made by these caseworkers! When investigating there should be questions asked to prevent vengeance and hateful acts such as:
1. Are you related or a family friend?
2. What is your relationship with the parent?
3. If not friends, is this referral made with genuine concern?
4. Are you fighting or have any hate towards the family?
5. Their mental state should taken accounted for!
6. Their full name ! If a person can testify in court and be charged with perjury for lying on a stand so should false accuser.
7. Do you have proof? Pictures, texts, solid proof towards this family.
8. We should be able to confront or question our accusers as they do in court of law.
No one should be able to make accusations against a family they have no relationship with unless by mandated reporters who witnessed neglect or abuse.
It should be illegal to make false allegations against someone over and over and wasting state resources and a ton of taxpayers dollars. It’s ridiculous!! Help me by signing this petition in hopes to change the way they handle anonymous CPS reports.
