Andrew Scott Clyde is an American politician and businessperson known for his role as a representative of Georgia's 9th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives, a position he has held since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Clyde represents a region that encompasses a substantial portion of exurban and rural areas northeast of Atlanta, including cities such as Gainesville, Toccoa, Hartwell, and Dahlonega. Before his political career, Clyde was the CEO of Clyde Armory, Inc., a gun store business. He also served as a Commander in the U.S. Navy. Academically, Clyde earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Bethel College and later obtained an MBA from the University of Georgia.
