My name is Alice Aragon and I am asking citizens of not only Butte County, California, but all of California and the USA for the consideration of removing Judge Sandra McLean from her Butte County family law seat.

Its within my knowledge that she has been removed from both criminal and civil and is partaking in decisions that are detrimental to the lives of children and their families. Her rulings are unjust, definitely not based on the law and seemingly favor the criminals she once stood before. I worry about bias in the courtroom and often worry for the lives of families, including my own, after her rulings are stamped and solidified. No parent should have to worry if their children is going back to a place where they may not survive. Even after years of people submitting evidence, restraining orders are often wrongfully denied, full stories are not heard or ignored and the less fit parent/party seems to conquer all regardless of factual documents submitted.

It has been said on another petition for her removal (dated 2 years ago!) 

"She prides herself in distributing the harshest kinds of punishments; is this someone you want to decide your family's fate?

Butte County has the highest ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) score in all of California and the highest separation of parent and child without reunification. These issues are rooted in our family courts and tied to people like Judge McClean. 

Her slim experience in family law has caused tragedy for families of Butte County...."
