My name is Chelsea Agost and I am asking citizens of not only Butte County California, but all the United States to consider removing this judge from her seat in Butte County family courts.

Judge McClean is not an appointed family judge of Butte County, she is specialized in criminalized law, not family law. This is absolutely inappropriate and unfair to all who must face her jurisdiction. Her jurisdiction is unforgiving, she is quick to take a child away with no remorse for the grieving parent on the other side.

She prides herself in distributing the harshest kinds of punishments; is this someone you want to decide your family's fate?

Butte County has the highest ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) score in all of California and the highest separation of parent and child without reunification. These issues are rooted in our family courts and tied to people like Judge McClean. 

Her slim experience in family law has caused tragedy for families of Butte County for myself, my daughter, and many others.
