With the cost of living rising school uniforms are compulsory for children yet we get no help towards uniforms. 

nurses, police , health care workers, firefighters and many more all have uniform provided even prisoners have clothes provided if compulsory yet our children get nothing. 

Children as we know are bullied and picked on for not fitting in and having the latest clothes etc yet parents are struggling to provide a warm home and warm meal. 

The government needs to recognise that parents can’t afford to provide the basics for children not let alone new uniforms every few weeks. 

School uniforms should be provided by the state If they are compulsory.
