We, the undersigned members of the community, respectfully urge the relevant authorities to take immediate action to repair and maintain the road leading to the Muslim cemetery located at 17551 NW 137th Ave, Hialeah Gardens, FL 33018 (Muslim Cemetery of South Florida).

For far too long, this road has been left in poor condition — making it difficult and sometimes hazardous for families, elders, and funeral processions to access the cemetery. This lack of maintenance shows a troubling disregard for a space that holds deep religious and emotional significance.

Cemeteries are places of peace, reflection, and respect. Every member of our community deserves a dignified final resting place and safe access for loved ones to visit and honor them. The current state of the road does not reflect these values.

We call upon the responsible authorities to:

Immediately assess the condition of the road.
Allocate appropriate funds for necessary repairs and long-term maintenance.
Ensure that access to the Muslim cemetery is treated with the same care and respect as all other public burial grounds.
