To make matters worse, a revolving door of temporary locum doctors means patients rarely see the same physician twice. This lack of continuity hurts everyone—from young families and elderly residents managing chronic illnesses to industrial workers who need local, reliable care.Traveling to Queenstown, Zeehan, or Burnie for a basic GP visit should not be our only option. Reliable local healthcare is a necessity, not a luxury.

We are calling on Ochre Health management and the Tasmanian Minister for Health to take immediate action and deliver:
More Clinic Days & Hours: Return the Rosebery practice to a dependable, full five-day-a-week schedule.
Permanent Doctors, Fewer Locums: Focus on recruiting and retaining permanent GPs who will stay in Rosebery, understand our community, and provide continuous long-term care.
Fair Share of Resources: Ensure that Rosebery and Tullah receives its fair share of the promised "TassieDoc" bulk-billed appointments and extended care hours.
