To: Mayor Lauretti and the Board of Alderman,

We the undersigned city residents, business proprietors, and visitors of the City of Shelton call upon the city administration to correct the lack of parking in Shelton’s downtown.

Residents are struggling to find parking as more apartments are built. People who live in the new apartments must compete with residents from other parts of town to find space in the existing municipal lots. This interferes with city residents being able to shop and dine at our downtown businesses.

We call on Mayor Lauretti and the Board of Alderman to manage and improve the parking situation downtown.
