HONOUR THE LIFE OF TAYAKA - MAKE DISCOVERY ISLAND HIS ISLAND

The Issue

TAKAYA should be cremated, and his ashes spread all over discovery island by the photographer, who lovingly spent almost 7 years with this boy, using her camera to show the world the beauty of this wolf.

To think he survived for 11 years in a world of profoundly immoral and wicked humans who thought wildlife was somehow worthless, and unimportant.

Discovery Island was the safe zone for Takaya, for many years, and we, as those who followed his journey, should honor him.

Let’s dedicate the island to him. Let’s have the First nations carve out a totem pole of Takaya standing tall, watching over his land.

Let’s not let this stunning creature be forgotten and let’s not let his memory die.
