Shakiey Dow, 22 years of age, is an inmate in the Philadelphia Prison System. He recently found out that he has throat cancer while being incarcerated. He just had surgery for a cancerous tumor to be removed which was beginning to grow even more, towards his brain. In order to receive the proper care (chemotherapy) he needs to be home and monitored vigorously. He was recently denied release by a judge, but his doctors and lawyers are putting another request in.
