Fife College is looking to cut funding to its Fashion Course. As a graduate from this course I can say it offers opportunities like no other course in the country and with that I include University courses. The loss of this course would have an impact of creatives throughout the country as people travel far and wide to study here with some even relocating.

This course sits with 60+ prospective students and the college looks to cut it without a shred of empathy shown by the establishment. Fife College needs to learn that this course shows people a place in society they never thought they had and even for queer individuals like me it gives us a safe space to flourish and be ourselves. This course changed my life and gave me courage which pushed me to do so many things I never thought possible along with lecturers who pour their life into the course and do everything to help us build ourselves and our confidence. 

Creative courses are being attacked all over the country from people in power who sit in their castles in the sky without a second thought and tell us what to do, as a creative I cant stand by and watch the course that shaped my life be reduced to ash.
