Subject: Request for Support in Proposing a Venue Change to Bangalore for the Upcoming FEI Events

Dear Esteemed Riders and Respected Parents,
I trust this message finds you and your equine companions in excellent condition.
The scheduling of our beloved FEI showjumping and dressage events is a matter that requires our collective consideration and advocacy. This year, as you may be aware, the dressage competition is planned in Mumbai, while the showjumping event is scheduled in Bangalore, with both occurring on overlapping dates.

The Central Concern:
The concurrent dates and the significant geographical gap between Mumbai and Bangalore present a logistical challenge, especially for those participating in both events. While rescheduling is an option, it is imperative for the optimal well-being of our horses and riders that there's at least a one-month gap between these two rigorous events.

Why Bangalore is the Optimal Choice:

• Proximity to Participants: A vast majority, approximately 90%, of our riders and their families reside closer to Bangalore, particularly from the eastern part of south India. Hosting both events here would be considerably more convenient and reduce travel time and costs for a majority of participants.

• Facilities:  EIRS Bangalore ( showjumping) and the ASC Center ( dressage) in Bangalore are equipped and willing to host both events, ensuring top-tier amenities and a conducive environment for our riders and horses.

• Holistic Well-being: Reducing the need for excessive travel means our horses remain in optimal health and spirits, ensuring peak performance and reducing stress.

By moving both events to Bangalore, we are not just choosing a venue; we are making a thoughtful decision that prioritizes the comfort, health, and convenience of our community.
