As the continued abuses of corporate America seem to see no limit, we must stand and defend the consumer from these nefarious business practices. The latest of which appear to be the auto industry's despicable attempt to move towards a subscription model sales process, which aims to continuously charge the consumer who will likely have no choice in the matter, in order to access specific performance, convenience, and even safety features of the vehicles. These features have long been offered as single price extras or standard equipped but as the greed continues to go unchecked manufacturers can put artificial gates in place to reap additional repetitive profits. These include various manufacturers capping the engine performance through software, limiting GPS/Navigation/Cellular band features in addition to the already subscribed features such as satellite radio. 

Please open a formal investigation into the practices of this industry. Seek to identify if consumers are being fairly informed of these practices before their purchase. Identify if corporations are charging consumers unfairly and if so, enact strict legislation to make the industry adhere to an ethically just business practice. We must stop the greed before it causes too much damage to an already struggling economy. Consumers continue to be squeezed and bullied by large corporations in multiple industries. It's far past time to take a stand.
