In 2021 alone, more than 500 Nigerians have died as a result of insurgency in North-Eastern Nigeria alone. Hundreds have been murdered in other parts of Nigeria, scores of communities have been displaced and thousands are prevented from their regular occupations by the murderous impunity of armed criminals. The Federal Government of Nigeria has been either unwilling or unable to arrest this dangerous slide into lawlessness and insecurity. The situation is worsened by the serial incompetence of public officials, often more loyal to tribal and religious affiliations than their country.

Recently, glaring evidence has surfaced tying the Federal Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami to rabid statements supporting terrorism and fostering tribal hatred. He is clearly unfit to hold public office and neither personal integrity nor political accountability seems enough to compel his dismissal, it would seem.

We are therefore calling on Nigerians everywhere around the world to take a stand and append their signatures to this Petition and clarion call to the Federal Government of Nigeria to immediately terminate the appointment of Isa Ali Pantami as a Minister of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Your signature will add a voice to efforts to remove the fifth columnists within the Nigerian government and political establishment. We call on you to take a stand for the poor compatriots who have been murdered or rendered homeless by these heartless merchants of hate.
